PROTOTYPE 3

I will be utilizing this mechanism to fabricate a kinetic sculpture that will be able to be programmed and be automated.

The ballet movement the inspired this is Epaulement - positioning of the head from the neck and from the shoulder in an almost twisted manner to create a more interesting and elongated body line. In order to achieve an Epaulement, a dancer must be able to isolate parts of the body in spiraling manner to create a pleasing balletic line.
